The power of language cannot describe the unhappy mix of fear, anger, frustration and tears. Staring out of the misty windows At the foggy blur of life passing by As the constant cold air blows out Through the air-con hole Occasionally stuck with a piece of tissue Dries my tired eyes, Messes my untamed fringe Earpiece stuck in my ear Backdrop of distant voices Turns into calming music At the touch of a button Book in my lap But my mind has other ideas Regular swaying of the vehicle With comfortably warm seats Lures me to the world of dreams Brake, slow down, halt.
