Sticks and stones can't break my bones but words can break my heart Another month and it would be half year. the importance of AYG to some people dawn on me, not suddenly, rather, i kind of suspected it all along, just that confirmation has been quite recent. therefore, it's not really surprising. ignorance fades with time. who was i trying to kid? I've learnt so much. but sometimes, i'd rather stay in the dark. but, well, there isn't a delete/erase/clear memory button attached to the brain. yeah. just me, me and my stupid ignorant self. /. On to Open House can't say it was great, perfect, or anything. can't say we owned the school. no offense, but the feeling's different. or maybe it was there, just that i couldn't feel it. maybe practice wasn't enough. still a good job done though:D * round of applause last year, it started raining halfway when we were dancing. this year, the drizzle stopped before we went out. last year i felt the spirit, the high-ness, the strength, the togetherness, the unity. the first performance was total crap for me. brainfreezed halfway through AYG and guo tou for the liu xing failed. the worst part was the ending pose. deja vu of the rehearsal. :( fan-ed over and flipped to the side again. ow. worst thing, though, wasn't the pain or anything. the worst thing was the indescribable feeling when you know you've screwed up. and I'm sharing centre with kelly. double attack. screwed center. just great. luckily, the second performance went better:) afterwards, amanda, jinglin, jingwen, yanting, ying, valerie, and i went to lot 1:) fun time there cracking lame jokes and racist ones too. ooops. /. PA later, then off to chalet:) next dance practice is on 28 december. long period of (unwanted) rest:( gonna miss dance, but i'll have to start on my pile of homework which is an extreme eye irritant on the table. |
